HOW I CAUGHT THE NIGHT STALKER

Kerry Daynes, Colin Sutton & Dr Keri Nixon

Chair: Louise Hulland

What does it take to catch such an infamous criminal as "The NightStalker"?  With a detailed look into the complex investigation that brought Delroy Grant to justice, DCI Colin Sutton discusses how the investigation into the serial rapist haunting south London unfolded and how it is believed Grant committed hundreds of offences spanning over a decade. He will talk through the very lengths they went to finally arrest Grant, including constructing a surveillance team using hidden cameras, look-out posts, and a helicopter carrying an infra-red camera to see in the dark in and around Shirley, in Croydon, which was one of Grant's favourite haunts.

The panel is chaired by Louise Hulland and features forensic psychologist, Kerry Daynes alongside DCI Colin Sutton to discuss what effects criminals like Delroy Grant have on the community they live amongst, and what lengths are needed to keep people safe.
