In his twice-weekly Substack, crime journalist Chris Summers writes – based on his own experience – about everything from the latest murder trials, to cold cases, miscarriages of justice and organised crime.

Chris has done it all - he covered the Cromwell Street murders in Gloucester, the Ipswich serial killer, covered numerous high-profile Old Bailey trials, and interviewed a gang leader on Death Row who was later executed.

He launched his Substack in March 2024 and it is growing in popularity, with more than 1,200 subscribers. Occasionally he publishes audio or video interviews – with people like Tokyo Vice author and Japanese mafia expert Jake Adelstein – and is planning to expand that area in the future.
