Inside Justice - Case Worker

Mary Stewart is an ex Metropolitan Police Senior Forensic Practitioner who had over 30 years’ experience within the Forensic Directorate before taking retirement in 2016. Her vast skills,expertise and knowledge included fingerprint expertise and scene examination across all crime types and resulted in her receiving five commendations during her career.



Her final 10 years were spent supporting the development and advancement of all training material in sexually motivated crime including CPD events and the publication of best practice guidance documentation for practitioners, internal and external partners. She was officially awarded a Foundation Degree: Fd Forensic Practice (Crime Scene Examination - Expert Route) in 2014 from Teesside University.
