Gareth Johnson says: “I was immediately drawn to The Body Next Door because I grew up near Beddau, where the body was discovered. People in the valleys are natural storytellers, often very funny. I wanted to bring the village of Beddau to life through local interviews, and I was excited about the characters we could feature.
Leigh Sabine’s character also intrigued me. She deceived many, and her past as a cabaret singer added a fascinating layer. I was eager to learn more about her and what drove her to murder, and I believed the audience would share this curiosity”
