Diana Parkes

Diana is the mother of Joanna Simpson, who was tragically murdered by her estranged husband in 2010, an event witnessed by her two grandchildren, who have since lived with her.  Since then, Diana co-founded The Joanna Simpson Foundation in Joanna’s memory and serves as its Patron.

A former sheep farmer with 400 sheep on 200 acres, Diana also ran a Michelin-recognized guest house on the Isle of Man. Her accomplishments include serving as Joint Master of the Isle of Man Draghounds and Lady Captain and President of the Ramsey Ladies Golf Club.

Diana was awarded a CBE in 2024 for her services to vulnerable children.
