Maddy Hennah

After returning from Cyprus where she worked as a ground hostess at RAF Akrotiri, Maddy joined Wiltshire Police in 2003. She worked in uniform on response for 6 years, before joining CID in 2009. Through the rest of her career she worked on the burglary and robbery squad, Intelligence on the modern slavery team, Counter Terrorism, then on the Inquiry into the death of Dawn Sturgess, retiring as a Detective Sergeant in November last year. She has returned to work with Wiltshire police on an investigation. 



Whilst on CID she was the officer in the case of Emile Cilliers double attempted murder of his wife Victoria, first by causing a gas leak in the house and then by tampering with her parachute. Cilliers was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 18 years in 2018.
