Chris Warburton is the presenter of the Weekend Breakfast programme on BBC Radio 5 Live. He is also the host of some of the BBC’s most successful True Crime podcasts. His first, ‘Beyond Reasonable Doubt’, which tells the shocking story of Michael and Kathleen Peterson, was also the BBC’s first ever podcast in the True Crime genre. Chris followed that up with ‘End of Days’, which explores the tale of the British people who joined David Koresh’s apocalyptic cult in Waco, Texas. Both series have been critically acclaimed and have won a series of awards, most notably in the British Podcast Awards. Chris’ latest podcast, ‘Ecstasy: The Battle Of Rave’, is half real life and half drama. It was released in 2020 and tells the story of when ecstasy and acid house first swept Britain.
