Louise Shorter

Founder of Inside Justice

Louise Shorter is the founder of Inside Justice, a registered charity which investigates miscarriages of justice. Prior to this Louise was a Producer of BBC’s long-running investigative TV series ‘Rough Justice’ for 10 years. She is on the Board of Directors of Inside Time and was a consultant to the Guardian’s Justice on Trial website when it was launched. Louise is also a member of the Youth Justice Board which advises Government on Youth Justice policy and she teaches at the University of East Anglia Law School.

Louise is the host of CBS Reality’s latest series ‘Wrongly Accused’, which examines a series of investigations that focused on innocent suspects, and the reinvestigation that eventually caught the actual murderer. The new 10-part series which features exclusive interviews, supported by dramatic reconstructions and expert-led opinion, will air on CBS Reality in 2023.
