Karen Greene

Close Protection 

Karen retired in May 2021 having served 30 years with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), over 20 years as a Detective and the majority of those in specialist roles including Witness Protection, Fraud Prevention, an investigator on SO13 Anti Terrorism Unit and then SO15 Counter Terrorism Command . She served a number of years on SO15 Forensic Management Unit as an advanced exhibit officer. During her time within the Counter Terrorism Command she was fortunate to work on many high profile investigations including Op Overt the Transatlantic Airline Plot.  She has travelled the world extensively on behalf of the MPS working with various international Law Enforcement Agencies..  Karen was posted as an Armed Close Protection Officer where she protected various high profile Members of Parliament and Foreign Ministers.  She also had the pleasure of being part of the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Cleggs Protection Team.  During the London Olympics she protected the US Olympic Basketball Teams, as a player herself this was the pinnacle of her career. Karens skills include firearms, surveillance, advanced driver, bodyguard to name just a few. Until the day she retired she was still very passionate about the job she did and ended her career deployed within the Counter Terrorism Command on a disruption unit.
