Jo Taylor

Jo Taylor joined the prison service in 1997. Most of her training was residential, spent in Wakefield Prison Service Collage.

Jo went on to work at Newhall Women's Prison for 10 years, where inmates' crimes ranged from petty to murder. In 2007 Jo began working in her home town, in Wakefield's Top Security Prison, dealing with some of the most dangerous men in the system.

After 5 years, Jo left to become a barber and then went on to open her own Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic, where she's able to change people's lives for the better. She has a view of Wakefield from her clinic window.
