BLACKWELLS

Books have been proudly sold from Blackwell’s Bookshop shop on South Bridge, Edinburgh since 1848. The original bookshop was founded by James Thin with Blackwell’s taking over in 2002. Blackwell’s has bookshops all over the country from Aberdeen to Exeter, and is the largest academic and specialist bookseller in the UK. Our first (and largest) shop was founded in Oxford in 1879 by Benjamin Henry Blackwell.
